So my surgery is to take place next week. I'm pretty scared and happy because the pain will be gone (for the most part) and nervous/scared aboutt the surgery because I'm a human with an insane imagination. Oh yeahz. I've been doing water therepy for the past week to relax my muscles and nerves for the surgery. After being a coach potato for about two months I can honestly say that swimming, one of the things I'm really at, has kicked my butt. When you're crawling home from exhasution due to swimming, you know you're out of shape.
Okay, how cool is this? I, being the dork I am, love to read books/manga/comics and watchs movies and tv shows when I'm relaxing/recovering from illnessess/injuries. Who doesn't? So, with my shoulder like this, I have been buying myseld DVDs and the movies to make myself feel better.
Because I'm odd like that.
So, I FINALLY found a store with the rest of the newer TMNT comics I have been looking for, and gleefully purchased some. As I was standing there chatting away with the cashier (who turned out to be the manager of the store) we got on the subject of TMNT, Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird (the creators of tmnt) and then somehow we got onto the subject of my book. I plan to have my book be turned into a graphic novel/comic that I'm working on with a friend of mine, and the manager of the store was like "If you ever want to do a book signing, give me a call."
Um, like? I would LOVE!
So after my surgery I am hoping to be doing a book signing at this really cool comic store!!! YAAAY!
Look at what being a dork can do for you. :D

State Hopping, Surgeries and big chain Libraries
So I've been state hopping, and not due to book stuffz though I desperatly wish it were so. Noooo, my shoulder has been worse. So I am here in a different state with some family getting prepared for surgery. My left muscles and nerves are so tense that if they do surgery now it will rip my muscles. So since I am not in favor of that, we are trying to relax my arm (which is hard to do when your pain level is constantly between a 6-9 on the pain scale) Once I'm all relaxed we can commence with the surgery!
Yes I am a nutshell about it.
Now on to big chain libraries...
So while I am here I thought I would bring some copies of my book with me and try my luck. It was if-ish. Apparently there are particular channels you have to go through to get in to a big library. The librarians were impressed and interested though and gave me the numbers to call. So hopefully I can get my book in the library here yet!

Hastings, Website and random thoughts
So my local Hastings store agreed to sell some of my books off the shelves for me and I will be doing a book signing there as well. Am I excited? Oooooooooooooooh yeaaaaah! When shall the signing be? No clue as to yet. Working on that :)
Also, I dont know if I've mentioned (and its possible I have and am just not paying attention to my older posts) but I have a website for my book now! :D :D :D :D Check it out peoplez. Its in baby step processd at the moment but I'm proud of it nonetheless!

Okay, so random thoughts: Has anyone suffered from spiders stalking you? I was in my bathroom the other day brushing my teeth when I noticed my towel looked a bit gauzy. i reached over to pick it up and a female hobo spider jumped out at me. I'm telling you, I think they are after me. I killed one spider early spring and since then they will not leave me alone!! I will be sitting in a chair reading a book and there goes a spider scurrying acoss the ground. Suddenly it stops, turns, sees me, and charges in my direction. Perhaps I have already ranted about this? If so, I apologize. I'm just rather sick of spiders attacking me on a daily bases. I shall be stocking up on bug spray. I'd gret poison but my dog has a lovely habit of getting into things he shouldn't O__o
Also more random thoughts: I'm loving IDW comics. Soo good. But how long does it tsake for a comic to be published? I'm more of a book and manga reader, so comics are new to me. I'm waiting for the new IDW TMNT comic to come out but its taking soooooo loooooooooooooooooong. How long does this process take? I'm quietly going insane T___T
Also, has anyone listened to the new band One Direction? You should. i usually dont buy CD's of a band (prefering to get itunes or cds with the best songs from each aretist/band) but I recommend getting their CD. I love every song of theirs so far. My favorite song of theirs at the moment:

Prologue Of The Portal Hunter

The Portal Hunter Prologue Sneek Peek

Prologue
The bleak skies were filled with sinister black clouds that consumed the atmosphere, blocking out the bright light gifted by the three moons surrounding the planet Glaxxxukion.
A platoon of Krypsonixx soldiers marched across the rugged terrain, searching for resistant fighters. Even though the Emperor and Empress had been executed the night before, the Glaxion army had been attacking the Emperor's fortress. Only during the past few hours had the attacks died down.
The Warlord Taro Yukio glared out from the throne he had claimed. His guards stood around him, laser guns and weapons at the ready in case of a surprise attack. At his feet laid the dead bodies of Emperor Vershoūnō and Empress Aquafire. He spat at their forms in contempt before turning towards a guard who was recently missing a left eye due from last night's battle, and was wearing a red soaked bandage. "Go fetch that woman for me," Yukio snarled. Despite the mind numbing pain he was feeling, the guard snapped to attention and left with haste to do as he was bidden. Who knew what dangerous mood the warlord was in?
Yukio watched emotionlessly as a tall Glaxion woman bound in chains was dragged into the room. She was covered in bloodied scars and black bruises, the left side of her face covered with dried blood that had been flowing from a deep head wound she had received, which was now clotting with pus.
The woman uttered a moan when she saw the bodies of the royal family, their blood caking on the once polished marble floors.
"Ah, Sta'lala'knna, there you are. How do you feel?"
Sta'lala'knna cowered back in fear as she was thrown at Yukio's feet, shaking as she stared up at him.
What a horrid sight!
He was half cyborg, half human. Though her vision was blurry, she could still make out the shining metal that made up the left side of his face, neck and chest. She shuddered and looked away, trying to avoid the glare of his robotic red eye that glowed evilly in the dark room.
"Take away the bodies. I believe they are making our guest uncomfortable." Yukio said, leaning back in his throne. "Hang them up where all the Glaxions can see them."
"Show more respect to them!" Sta'lala'knna snapped as guards began to drag the corpses away. She cried out as Yukio reached out and yanked her brown hair, bringing her close to him.
"Tell me where Amaya is." He snarled. "It's the day after her twentieth birthday. The agreement was she would be mine. Where is she?!"
"I don't know where she is…metal face!"
He tossed her away from his side like a ragdoll.
"You lie. No matter. I shall extract the information I want one way or another."
Sta'lala'knna breathed heavily, glaring at him from the corner of her eye in defiance.
"What makes you even think I have the information you want?"
A nasty smile spread over his face.
"You're the elder sister of Hiroshi, a close friend of Amaya. I've noticed he is missing as well. If anyone knows where those two are, it's you." He stood up, pulling a sword out of its sheath. He advanced towards her. "Start talking."
"Never, oil breath."
"I'll slice you to pieces." He raised the keenly sharp blade in the air when a bolt of lightning exploded through the room, severing his right hand. He howled in pain, dropping to his knees. Two of his guards rushed to his side, wrapping the stub with a jacket while the rest of his guards formed a circle around him, their guns cocked.
Silence filled the air as the seconds ticked off.
Suddenly maroon colored hair snapped out, curling around the throats of the guards, strangling them like a boa constrictor. A loud growl rumbled from the shadows.
Yukio's eyes widened. "That sound!" He gasped, fighting the blackness which was trying to take hold of him. "It's…been a thousand years…but I'd know that growl from anywhere."
Amaya emerged from the shadows, tucking a lock of hair behind her pointed ears. Her normally orchid colored skin was now a shimmering silver. Her teeth were now fangs and her nails were now claws. Yukio couldn't fight back the grin tugging at the corners of his mouth. "You've Transformed into a Glaxkaskadium. How…splendid."
Amaya snarled. "You would know, wouldn't you? That's why you destroyed my people's history logs and killed all the elderly, so that we wouldn't know what I would become. So we wouldn't have hope."
"Shut up fool. Stop the bleeding already, dammit!" Yukio snapped as he turned to one of the remaining guards.
At that moment countless Krypsonixx soldiers burst into the room, surrounding Amaya.
Sta'lala'knna began to crawl from her spot, trying to reach Amaya.
"Princess, be careful!" she cried out.
"Yukio," Amaya said, ignoring Sta'lala'knna. "I received your message." Large sections of her hair unraveled, revealing her parent's dead forms. "You will pay for what you've done!" Her body began to glow brighter, small bolts of lightning snaking around her. "Watch closely Yukio, for this shall be your fate." She looked up towards the ceiling, a tear rolling down from the corner of her right eye. "Mother, father, I avenge you!" The lightning bolts grew larger and spiraled out towards the soldiers, cleaving them in half or burning them to a crisp.
Yukio covered his eyes from the blinding light, his heart pounding wildly. He could feel the energy of her lightning pulsing throughout his body and he shuddered with delight. He couldn't wait for when she was completely his.
"Amaya!"
The voice rented through the air and destroyed Yukio's ecstasy. He cracked opened his eyes slightly and turned to the sound of the voice.
"Amaya, help! They're trying to kill the baby!"
An orange colored male Glaxion entered the room, clutching a tiny bundle to his chest, firing off a laser gun at the four Krypsonixx soldiers chasing after him.
Sta'lala'knna grabbed a gun from a dead guard and shot at the men, watching with satisfaction as their bodies dropped heavily to the ground. She turned and pointed the gun at Yukio.
"No, he is mine." Amaya said, a ball of lightning spinning around in the palm of her right hand. "Go to Hiroshi and Shequartlika." The baby began to send out a pitiful wail, followed by the sound of pounding feet. "Krypsonixx soldiers are coming! Hiroshi, take Sta'lala'knna and Shequartlika away from here! Find our army. I have business to attend to here."
Suddenly realizing the child was both Amaya's and Hiroshi's, he felt a new found hatred burning up inside of him as he glared at the baby before turning his head towards Amaya. The last thing he remembered seeing was a brilliant bolt of lightning.

Speaking of youtube, i'm working on spme book trailers for my book, which is turning out to be a lot harder then I originally planned but i sam slowly but surely getting there, especially with the help of all my awesome friends :)
Its gonna be a slide show of wonderful art done by my friends ans myself (not that my own art is wonderful by any means) with some amazing music made by Jake Paul and Adiran Clarkmen. Google them, listen to their music! :)

Free Comic Day May 5th :D and slap tear in shoulder :(
Hey fellow bloggers! How are you all doing? I'm alright...kinda. So earlier last month I dislocated my shoulder and somehow made a slap tear in my cartiledge and have nerve damage. I can kinda type now with my left hand but it hurts horribly. So they told me they want to do a shoulder scope BUT they dont want to mess up my already messed up nerves so I have to go see a verve doctor. But they can only see me in June.
Really?!
Augh.

Is anyone else excited by the Free Comic Day tomorrow???! I know I am! :D
I have recently become a fan of IDW comic publishing and their works. I have yet to read any of their Transformers comics (but its on my list). I'm currently in love with their new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle comics and am buying them whenever I save up enough coins in my piggy bank. The first one I got was of Donatello's Micro Series. Since then all I have been able to find is the Leo micro, and #7 and #9. Thankfully they have thos section at the back of the comics called "Ninja Notes" where fans can write in and comment or complain or compliment on the plot (I even sent in a letter of love myself, so if I'm lucky it may even get posted!), so I've been able to follow the story line from those. Not the same as reading it though...
But if I'm lucky I'll be able to go and check out some new comics. I'd like new TMNT comics, obviously xD
Working on the second book in the Glaxion Series. Its awesome because my two little kid brothers have pleaded to have characters in the book. So I'm having fun making their characters, but suddenly their characters got best friends. LOLZ.
