College Life

I apologize for not being able to log on for awhile. College life has taken over my life! But looky here, I am so fancy that I am writing in "cursive" :D I feel so fancy!

Okay, I am so tired. So moving into the dorm was actually not a nightmare because the college I am going to had this amazing thing called Welcome Week. So we pulled up to the college and a whole bunch of soph's practically ripped open my car doors and were shouting "WELCOOOME!" (to which, I had only had 3 hours of sleep, so I was mentally not there) and I was ready to punch 'em lights out until they were like "We'll carry your stuff up to your dorm!!" To which I was like "Hello, I love you people!"

So, classes have been interesting and the entire college expierence has been totally interesting. I am on the top floor here in my dorm (to which we call ourselves the "Pent House") I have the most amazing floor mates up here and have loved getting to know them.

So, on the flip side though, this thing called "homework" has totally taken over my life. It's kinda odd, this thing called homework. But I am proud, I totally have gotten all of my homework done tonight for tomorrow and instead of getting my work in advance for my homework tomorrow I am here goofying off on facebook and my blog instead of going to bed early and am working really hard. Sooo proud of myself. My only complaint is that we all have been going to bed at like 3 or 4am. That gets rather old. I knew I was a night owl but I totally got my butt kicked by these amazing peoplez.

So on the book half, I am still on chapter 19. I totally haven't had the time to work on it. YET. I promise I am totally going to get back to it soon and I will not allow Krystal Story to take over my second book at all. Jade is the main character, not Krystal! Get it in your head Krystal!!!!!!!!!! Aaaagh. Krystal Story is such a strong character. Yet I can't figure her out in tihs book. Why is that? She's so strong. Too strong. Maybe her's and Jade's character's should clash a bit? Like, Krystal could totally call out the B.S. on Jade's feelings that she tries to hide or ignore. Jade would totally hate her xD No actually she wouldn't. She'd probably feel like an older sister to Krystal. Or maybe a aquataince. Hee hee. I suddenly can't wait to see what is gonna happen there.

Oh, okay, and so like there's a lawn mower outside of my dorm room. Um...its 1am people.
Aw crap. I gotta sleep. If I can stop laughing, these girls are so funny! Iam laughing so hard I am gonna pee my pants!

College and Krystal Story

So I am officially enrolled into college, I have a dorm, a (awesome) roommate,  (awesome) friends and every day gets better. However, I am so dang tired because I am constantly running around at Welcome Week! Hoping to be more stablized soon with classes! So, this is gonna be a really short post.

Random moment: I am still in my body sling. Heal, shoulder, heal.

Also, I don't know if anyone knows but I have a dA account and a 4kidsTV account. If you have ever been on these sites and have heard of Krystal Story, you'd know she is my OC (original character created for the use of writing fanfictions). Well, Krystal Story has butted her way into The Portal Hunter Book 2. Apparently Ms. Story can't get enough attention. I can't stand it when my characters rebel against me. But they always do. Its like characters are like kids but they're worse. Because they're not real. Shocking, isn't it?

So its midnight and I gotta wake up early. Need to go to sleep!!!

So chill, keep it real, and look out for more complaints on Krystal Story. She's an awesome character, truly. She just never does what I tell her.

Return of plot bunnies

So, still trying to get over the death of Hope my dog. It's been a process. But, I didn't get on here to be depressing.

So I have been activily working on the second book in the Glaxion (aka The Portal Hunter) Series. It's been interesting because it's a bit more involved than the first one and around chapter seventeen I was suddenly like "umm....my brian has been struck by writers block." And this awful block lasted two weeks! I was going "Oh slog, are you serious?!" And then about two or three days ago, BOOM! I was struck by a major wave of creativeness and it has't left me along sense then. So I'm slightly sleep deprived (because apparently staying up until 2am is bad for you) but its been worth it!! I'm really liking where this story is going and I hope you all will too.

So I've been taking a World Literature class and it has given me new insight to books and literature and the meaning behind each word. I kinda wish I had taken it before I wrote TPH, but I'm never to old to learn.
Speaking f colleges WHY IS IT NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THROUGH ALL THAT PAPERWORK???????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously people!!!! And why do the websites never work??? I try to log on and I think the computer goes "It's Krista, let's mess up her regristration process and basically drive her up the wall and make her question her sanity and make her hate college herself in the process."
I kid you not. I totally bet the computers do this. No, really. I'm not insane, I promise.
Agggh, anyway.

So! Back to homework, back to working on the Glaxion Series!
